Green Flash West Coast IPA
Green Flash - West Coast IPA

West Coast I.P.A.
This West Coast-Style India Pale Ale is extravagantly hopped, full flavored, medium bodied and copper colored. A menagerie of hops is combined throughout the brewing process to impart specific characteristics. Hops used include Simcoe for a unique fruitiness and grapefruit zest, Columbus for strong hop pungency, Centennial for pine and citrus notes, and Cascade for floral aroma.

    Karl Strauss Red Trolley

Generous amounts of caramelized malts give Red Trolley Ale its deep copper color and pronounced toffee-like flavors. We add just the right mix of domestic hops to counter-balance the boldness of the malts so that it finishes with a pleasant but not overwhelming sweetness. Warm-fermentation with our proprietary yeast strain brings out fruity notes of raisins and currants and adds layers of complexity to this big and remarkably drinkable ale.

"My favorite thing about our Red Trolley is...all of the complexeties but it's
still highly quaffable-the perfect beer to breathe"

    -
    Head Brewer Paul Segura

      Golden Ale

This golden colored ale is smooth, light in flavor, and still retains a slight crispness in its finish, very similar to a European-style pilsner. Our Coronado Golden is delicately hopped with Czechoslovakian Saaz hops, traditionally used in making the classic pilsner. It is our most popular beer at our restaurant and considered our gateway beer into the micro-brew world.
