Richard Doyle Co-Founder of Harpoon Brewery Announced as Keynote Speaker for 25th Annual Craft Brewers Conference \rBoulder, Colo. • Nov. 20, 2007 – Keynote speaker, Richard Doyle will open the Brewers Association’s (BA) 25th annual Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) in sunny San Diego, California on April 17th, 2008. More than 1,600 of the world’s leading brewers, brewery owners, and brewing supply professionals are expected at this year’s CBC.\rDoyle, a graduate from Harvard Business School, was a co-founder of The Harpoon Brewery in 1986. He has been an integral part in the success of Harpoon Brewery and anticipates producing 120,000 barrels of beer this year. Some of the brewery’s accomplishments include: being listed on Inc. Magazine’s list of the fastest growing 500 companies in American in 1996 and 1997. Harpoon was also the winner of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s “Award for Business Excellence” in 2003 as well as recipient of the 2002 Windsor, Vermont “Business of the Year” award.
