It has become tradition for Tyson to patiently stash away all of the barrel aged goodness that he can throughout the year to serve out for Beer Week. We will have a huge selection of barrel aged beers on tap and in the bottle and Tyson has a selection of draft beer from TEN different types of barrels! Like many of our SDBW events, there was simply too much good beer from which to choose, so we just decided to tap every thing that we could.
The incredible and ridiculously long draft list will include the newly released Latitude 33 Barrel Aged Breakfast with Wilford, Ritual Big Deluxe Imperial Stout aged in High West whiskey barrels, Ballast Point Rum Barrel Victory at Sea on Nitro, Drake’s Bourbon Barrel Drakonic Imperial Stout, Firestone Sucaba and Velvet Merkin, Port Older Viscosity and Santa’s Little Helper, Lost Abbey Angel’s Share from 2011, Russian River Temptation, Supplication and Consecration, Allagash Odyssey and Iron Fire Viscious Disposition Porter in Rye Whiskey barrels. There will be other great draft beers as well as Tyson looks to tap 20 barrel aged beers from 10 different barrels.
We will have some of the draft barrel aged beers on tap for lunch on the 8th. Be sure to follow Tyson’s updates on Facebook and Twitter to see what will be on tap at lunchtime. All of the beers will be on tap by 5 pm.
In addition to the draft beers, we will have a wide selection of barrel aged bottles including some vintage gems like Firestone 14 and 15 Anniversary and Avery Uncle Jacobs Stout and Rumpkin. We’ll be serving up slow smoked pulled pork from West Coast BBQ & Brew to help wash down all of that wonderful barrel aged beer – I am hoping for Pulled Pork Tater Tots!
